The New York Jets acquired WR Santonio Holmes from the Pittsburgh Steelers on April 11, 2010. Holmes has
one year remaining on his contract. Holmes will receive $755,000 in base salary and a $750,000 roster bonus
On April 19, 2010 the Jets reworked Holmes' contract to give him an estimated $500,000 bonus. His 2010 salary was reduced to $630,000.
Holmes re-signed with the Jets on July 30, 2011 for 5 years. The total contract value is $45,000,000 with $23,500,000 in guarantees. Holmes received
a $6,250,000 signing bonus in 2011 along with a $1,000,000 roster bonus. Holmes will receive $1 million in roster bonuses in both 2014 and 2015. Base salaries
are $1,000,000(2011), $7,750,000(2012), $11,000,000(2013), $8,250,000(2014), and $6,500,000(2015). If Holmes is on the Jets roster in the middle of February 2012 his
2013 dead money will increase by $7,500,000.
