2010 NFL Predictions- Week 11

All the games are now up. Last week we went 6-8 in both categories. That was bad. Season is now 82-62 SU and 67-77 ATS

Bears (+1.5) over DOLPHINS- Strange spot for the Dolphins who are an enigma because of the QB position right now. They broke their norms last week, but two weeks in a row may be asking too much. Bears 16 Dolphins 14

Ravens (-10.5) over PANTHERS- Its hard to believe how bad Carolina really is. To get wiped out like that in Tampa last week is a mess. Baltimore needs a win badly as their star is fading. They have the extra few days of rest here which should give them enough ammo to cover. Ravens 21 Panthers 6

Bills (+5.5) over BENGALS- Give the Bills credit for being competitive every week and finally having it pay off in a win. Cincy is going to be the potential backdoor cover team of the year, but giving over 3 points just seems a bit crazy here as the Bengals are not any good. Bengals 24 Bills 20

Lions (+6.5) over COWBOYS- The Cowboys have been brutal all year and this line just seems like an overreaction to the Lions losing to a winless team and Dallas squashing the Giants. This should return back to normal this week. Lions 27 Cowboys 24

Browns (+2.5) over JAGUARS- The Jaguars prayers were answered last week, but those prayers are going to fall on deaf ears this week. Browns are playing smart enough football to win this game. Browns 19 Jaguars 16

CHIEFS (-7.5) over Cardinals- We knew Kansas City was trending down, but who would have guessed it would have been that bad last week? Arizona is usually a walkover away from home and after last weeks drubbing maybe at home too. Chiefs 28 Cardinals 10

Packers (-2.5) over VIKINGS- Minnesota’s season officially ended with the loss to the Bears and now they are going to not play to ensure the coach gets fired. Packers get revenge on Bret Favre by sweeping the series. Packers 20 Vikings 13

Texans (+6.5) over JETS- Houston does typically play better away from home, though they did end up losing last week but it was on a real strange type of play. Jets have been playing down to the opposition for the last month. Jets 24 Texans 20

Raiders (+7.5) over STEELERS- These two teams seem to be heading in opposite directions lately. Raiders have played good football for a month while Pittsburgh looked better early in the year without their star QB. Raiders can and will win. Raiders 24 Steelers 21

TITANS (-6.5) over Redskins- I cant figure the Titans out. They play good football but they just don’t seem to win games as often as they should. Doubtful that this will be the case now that they ae back home against a Redskins team that looks lost. Titans 26 Redskins 19

Seahawks (+11.5) over SAINTS- I rarely believe in Seattle but you just cant have the Saints as this kind of favorite against a team that at least tries. Saints 19 Seahawks 13

Buccaneers (+3.5) over 49’ERS- Do I believe in the Bucs? No, but 49’ers are even worse. Tampa wins a close one. Buccaneers 24 49’ers 23

RAMS (+2.5) over Falcons- Atlanta may be the best team in the NFL but they have not had the same success away from home as they have in Atlanta. St. Louis has been a good home team this year. Rams 16 Falcons 14

PATRIOTS (-3.5) over Colts- The annual Brady vs. Manning matchup has been leaning towards Manning in recent years, but the Colts are all injured and do not play very well outside of Indy. They will give it a fight, but the Patriots offense is too much. Patriots 33 Colts 23

GIANTS (+2.5) over Eagles- New York is 3-1 away from home this year and putting up huge amounts of points. Philadelphia is the toast of the town after their destruction of the Redskins, but in todays wacky NFL that usually means a loss the following week. Giants take control of the East. Giants 29 Eagles 23

CHARGERS (-9.5) over Broncos- The Broncos exploded last week, but this is a different beast. San Diego should begin their usual late season charge to win the division starting this week. Chargers 34 Broncos 14 RSS Subscription Twitter
