New York Jets Salary Cap Page

NFL Predictions- Week 4

Another blah week last week going 11-5 straight up but only 8-8 against the spread. Overall Im at a very mediocre 30-17 straight up and 25-22 ATS. Some big spreads this week as there looks to be a wide gap this year between the perceived good football teams and the bad teams in the NFL.

Falcons (+7.5) over PANTHERS- Carolina is going to win this football game, but they always play close games when they win and 7.5 looks like too big of a spread to cover. Falcons would really open some eyes if they pulled a win out this week to move to 3-1. Panthers 20 Falcons 17

JETS (-2.5) over Cardinals - This is a game the Jets need to win at home to start feeling good about themselves. Arizona never plays as well away from home as they do in Arizona. Jets 23 Cardinals 17

BENGALS (-3.5) over Browns- The Browns are just completely lost right now and their players look as if the season is already over. Maybe the Bengals woke up last week in their loss to the Giants, but even if they didnít the Browns have proven you can sleepwalk into a win against them. I would not expect Derek Anderson to finish this game. Bengals 24 Browns 16

Broncos (-9.5) over CHIEFS- Another game and another QB for Kansas City. Denverís defense may stink, but even they cant give up much to the hapless Chiefs. Kansas City will be booed off the field by their fans when its all over. Broncos 39 Chiefs 23

BUCCANEERS (-0.5) over Packers- A toss of the coin kind of game in which Ill side with the home team. Tampa showed some fire coming back to win in Chicago last week and typically plays much better at home, especially defensively. Green Bay winning certainly would not be a shock. Buccaneers 24 Packers 23.

JAGUARS (-7.5) over Texans- Houston simply cant play away from home and now that the Jaguars have gotten a win under their belt they may begin to settle down and begin winning some games. Texans usually give the Jaguars fits, but they just are not playing well enough to see that continue this week. Jaguars 29 Texans 17

Vikings (+2.5) over TITANS- Minnesota is a tough matchup for the Titans, who will have a hard time getting their run game going against the Viking defense. Vikings wont move the ball much on the Titans who also play nasty defense, but they definitely should do enough to cover and I believe win the low scoring game outright. Vikings 16 Titans 13

SAINTS (-6.5) over 49ers- Im a little reluctant on this game simply because the 49er offense has shown some big signs of life these last two weeks while the Saints defense is atrocious. New Orleans has had two tough losses in a row and will likely try to vent their frustrations on an overmatched 49er club. Saints 31 49ers 21

Bills (-8.5) over RAMS- Im not sold on the Bills and I hate this line being so high, but the Rams just can not do anything right. They are already in desperation mode switching Quarterbacks, but they simply can not score and do not stop anyone from putting up 30+. Trent Green will be lucky to make it through this game behind this offensive line. Ill stick picking against the Rams until they prove me wrong. Bills 35 Rams 10

Chargers (-7.5) over RAIDERS- You have to be able to pass the football to beat the Chargers and Jamarcus Russell doesnít look like an NFL QB yet for Oakland. Raiders have fought the last two weeks despite the front office turmoil, but the Chargers are a different beast than the Chiefs and Bills. Chargers 42 Raiders 24

Redskins (+11.5) Over COWBOYS- Dallas wants to score more points than any other team in NFL history and they just may do it if they do not get complacent. Still 11.5 is a ton of points, especially against a divisional opponent. Redskins should not be in the game for long, but should be able to hang within 12 points by the end of the day. Cowboys 28 Redskins 19

Eagles (-3.5) over BEARS- Philadelphia is flat out a better football team than Chicago on both sides of the football. The Bears defense is vastly overrated and there is no way they can consistently move the ball on the Eagles defense. Last weeks loss really is going to haunt Chicago. Eagles 30 Bears 16

STEELERS (-7.5) over Ravens- Pittsburgh has no nose tackle, lost their starting running back, and has a beat up QB, but so what? Joe Flacco is going to walk into a hornets nest and by the time its all over the Ravens wont know what hit them. Steelers 29 Ravens 10
