NFL Predictions- Week 11

Another crummy week. 8-7 Straight up and 6-9 ATS. Season is now at 89-55 and 68-76.

Dolphins (+3.5) over PANTHERS- Big game for both squads and Miami takes a huge hit having lost Ronnie Brown, but Carolina has to prove they can play well at home for two weeks before the fortunes should change. Dolphins 23 Panthers 17

Colts (+0.5) over RAVENS- Ravens are always a tough out at home and Indy could have a letdown, but they have been a dominant road team this year. Colts 23 Ravens 19

COWBOYS (-11.5) over Redskins - A lot of points for a rivalry game, but Dallas is home and they are really beating teams up there. Cowboys 33 Redskins 17

LIONS (-3.5) over Browns- And I thought Oakland/Kansas City was bad. How awful does a team have to be to be 3.5 point dogs to a team that has won 1 game in their last 26 games? I guess we will see on Sunday. Lions 20 Browns 10

49’ers (+6.5)over PACKERS- I know the Packers had a good game last week, but this is too steep of a spread for a team that always seems to play close especially against a 49’er team that is always in it on the road. Packers 23 49’ers 20

Bills (+8.5) over JAGUARS- Buffalo is a disaster, but Jacksonville always does just enough to let teams stick around. Bills are terrible in the second half of games which is a worry, but they might be able to cover. Jaguars 28 Bills 21

Steelers (-9.5) over CHIEFS- Desperate for a win this has slaughter written all over it. Chiefs are miserable at Arrowhead this year. Steelers 31 Chiefs 9

VIKINGS (-10.5) over Seahawks- How easy is Minnesota’s schedule this year? Give them credit for taking advantage of it, but at this point its ridiculous with one bad team after another. Vikings 37 Seahawks 14

GIANTS(-6.5) over Falcons- Both teams are reeling, but the Giants have had a full two weeks to figure things out. If they can not beat a team like Atlanta that is 1-4 on the road it will be a long season for Giant fans. Giants 31 Falcons 21

Saints (-11.5) over BUCCANEERS- Bucs are playing better and the Saints defense is beginning to show chinks in the armor, but this is the kind of team the Saints will feast on. Saints 41 Buccaneers 17

Cardinals (-8.5) over RAMS- That was the Rams Super Bowl last week and it will be hard to see them getting up for this game. Cardinals are the best road team in the NFL by a very wide margin. Cardinals 37 Rams 7

Chargers (-2.5) over BRONCOS- Don’t look now but here comes the Chargers. Denver is about to blow another early season “cant miss” start for the 3rd time in 4 years. Chargers 24 Broncos 20

Jets (+10.5) over PATRIOTS- Jets are a far better road team than home team and do have a good defense despite the meltdown last week. Pats are a good home team, but this line is just too big. Patriots 24 Jets 19

Bengals (-9.5) over RAIDERS- How terrible must it be to be a Raider fan? The number 1 overall pick in the draft was just benched for Bruce Gradkowski. You could have open tryouts and find someone that good. Maybe the Bengals have a letdown game, but its hard to picture Oakland scoring much on this defense. Bengals 23 Raiders 9

BEARS (+3.5) over Eagles- Points mean nothing as these teams seem to either win big or lose big. Bears wouldn’t look so bad if Jay Cutler could stop making such bad decisions. His poor play has cost them 2 wins. Bears 31 Eagles 17

TEXANS (-4.5) over Titans- The Titans can keep their slim hopes alive with another win, but this is too big for Houston to lose. Texans 30 Titans 17
