D'Brickashaw Ferguson, the 4th overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, signed a 6 year contract with the New York Jets on July 26, 2006. The deal included 17.9 million in guarantees including an estimated 12.9 million dollar option bonus in 2007. Fergusons salaries are $275,000(2006), $360,000(2007), $2,320,000(2008), $2,922,500(2009), $3,122,500(2010), $10,000,000(2011).

On July 7, 2010 Ferguson signed a 6 year contract extension with the Jets worth a potential 73.6 million with 34.8 million in guarantees which kick in if Ferguson is on the roster as of February 15, 2011. Ferguson received a 1.6 million dollar signing bonus and 3.092 million dollar roster bonus in 2010. Ferguson will receive will receive $750,000 per year in workout bonuses from 2011 thru 2017 and is eligible to receive a 1 million dollar bonus in each year from 2014 thru 2017 when he reports to training camp. Ferguson's base salaries are $630,000(2010), $5,615,000(2011), $9,985,000(2012), and $7,250,000(2013), $5,950,000(2014), $5,950,000(2015), $8,625,000(2016), and $11,275,000(2017). Salary cap numbers are being presented based on the Jets picking up an option bonus worth 3.9 million in 2011.

On February 22, 2012 Ferguson agreed to convert $9 million of his 2012 base salary to a signing bonus. Reports are that the Jets saved $7.5 million in cap room with the new deal. If that is the case the Jets also must have guaranteed half of Ferguson's 2012 workout bonus. Those numbers are not reflected below but will update when I can more accurately determine if they did or did not do that.
