Aaron Hernandez signed a 5 year contract extension worth a potential $40.69 million dollars on August 26, 2012. The contract contains $15.5 million in
guarantees of which $13.04 million is fully guaranteed. Hernandez will receiver roster bonuses of up to $500,000 from 2015-18, based on weeks on the gameday roster.
