NFL Predictions- Week 8

8-5 both ways last week. The season is at 65-38 SU and 58-45 ATS. This week is a terrible schedule and awful slate of games. The worst non week-17 schedule I can ever recall. Huge favorites and the stats say most should be blowouts, so likely that means it will end up being upset week where you just throw everything out on Sunday.

GIANTS (-9.5) over Dolphins- I really don’t trust the Giants in this spot, but after last weeks disaster I don’t know how Miami can really bounce back. Should be very close to the spread. Giants 27 Dolphins 17

Saints (-11.5) over RAMS- This has the potential to be ugly. St Louis really got the short end of the stick when the schedule came out and its why a slow start can ruin a whole season. Rams have chances to win after this but are so demoralized who knows if they will. Saints 41 Rams 10

TEXANS (-10.5) over Jaguars- Im stunned Jacksonville won last week, but they just have no offense at all. Game will be lower scoring that people think as the Jags do play decent defense, but the Texans should pull away towards the end. Texans 23 Jaguars 7

Vikings (+3.5) over PANTHERS- Very close game to call. Minnesota is in most games and the Panthers, while exceeding expectations, are not a good team. The numbers say Carolina should pull one out, but it should be really close. Panthers 27 Vikings 26

TITANS(-9.5) over Colts- That had to be rock bottom last week for Indianapolis. They are just so bad without Manning. Titans are fading quickly, but should have the ability to get a big win over a complete dud of a team. Titans 30 Colts 17

RAVENS (-12.5) over Cardinals- This is a payback game for the Ravens and unfortunately for the Cardinals they are going to be the victim. Arizona walking into a buzzsaw here. Ravens 31 Cardinals 14

Lions(-3.5) over BRONCOS- Tebow mania I guess is the only reason for this line. People seem to forget they were being shut out by the Miami Dolphins for around 55 minutes. That’s not good. Lions get back on the winning track. Lions 31 Broncos 16

BILLS(-5.5) over Redskins- After a few miracle games the Redskins are now looking at the team picture and realizing their QBs are John Beck and Rex Grossman. Only worry for the Bills is if they get caught looking ahead to the Jets. Buffalo should thrill the Toronto fans. Bills 29 Redskins 16

Patriots(-2.5) over STEELERS- Pittsburgh just does not have enough in the tank to compete with the Patriot offense. Wallace will probably have a huge game against the Pats secondary, but Pittsburgh is not in this class right now. Patriots 28 Steelers 21

Bengals (-2.5) over SEAHAWKS- I just can not see the Seattle team scoring enough against a very good defense to win this week. Maybe the Bengals flop off a bye week or cant handle the crowd, but they are clearly the better team. Bengals 21 Seahawks 13

49’ERS(-9.5) over Browns- Cleveland stinks and the 49’ers are the clear miracle team of the season. Cleveland will be lucky to find the end zone in this game. 49’ers 24 Browns 3

Cowboys (+3.5) over EAGLES- Big showdown game for two teams looking to stay close to the top of the race. Much bigger game for the Eagles who could fall completely out of the race with 5 losses just 7 weeks in, but Dallas is more talented and it is their game to lose. Cowboys 27 Eagles 24

Chargers (-3.5) over CHIEFS- Somehow Kansas City has found ways to win enough games to be right near the top of the AFC West, but they have been dreadful this year. Cant see them beating San Diego, though its always possible the Chargers can beat themselves. Chargers 24 Chiefs 17
