NFL Efficiency- Week 6
Here are the updated Efficiency Rankings for the NFL as of October 18th.
3 of the top 5 remained the same this week, with the Bills and Saints dropping out which allowed the Packers and Lions to sneak their way back in. Houston was the only top 10 team from last week to fall out, where they dropped from number 9 to number 11. They were replaced by the Chicago Bears. The big gainer of the week was the NY Giants who rose 7 spots, making up most of the lost points from last week. They now rank 18th. Other risers were the Bears and Falcons.
Minnesota and the Dolphins were the big losers this week. Miami fell 5 places and the Vikes fell 6 spots. It was enough of a fall by Miami to move into the bottom and replace the Jaguars who were competitive against the Steelers this week. Indianapolis keeps their bottom spot with a -72.34 ranking. The bottom three teams are all in a class of their own. The Chiefs have already put themselves out of the running for the number 1 pick, but they are really awful. Its probably going to come down to the Colts and Rams for the number 1 pick. Indy plays the Jaguars twice which are the only 2 potential wins on the schedule while the Rams play the Seahawks twice, Cardinals twice, and Browns, so Indy is the favorite. Miami also has a brutal schedule with the Chiefs being the only game to see them favored, but they play better than the Rams and Colts and will be a more live underdog over the course of the season.
